Moog Suspension Bushings

Moog Suspension Bushings
The shop which works on my S-type attempted to do an alignment and found that some suspension bits were now required. Part of the refurbishment was the right rear lower control arm bushings. After nearly having a coronary over the cost of the complete control arm from Jaguar, Moog bushings were ordered by their parts man. It seems that these bushings do not fit the application for which they are supposed to be intended.
Has anyone run across this? Is there another source besides the dreaded Üro? My Jag sits now occupying a lift that I am sure they would like to free up for other customers...

I have heard that Lemforder was the OEM for Jaguar.
Here is a good selection of parts including struts.
Might be worth a look as I am not sure they offer the bushing your looking for? Send them a quick E-mail to them to ask if you don't see what your looking for too.

if they are flexible on customer parts buy these whitebox arms slap two washers in there.
or tell them to look up arms for a 2002 lincoln ls which are direct fit but their discounted price will be well into the 200s each so it’s 300+ for you. pressing in bushings is a waste of time takes too much patience.

As someone who has just been doing that very activity on my S-type, I can almost agree with that statement.
I opted to get Powerflex polyurethane bushes. Getting the new ones in is not a problem if you have a bench vice. Getting the old ones out, however, is another matter entirely. It ideally requires a hydraulic press (which I don’t have) or two blow-lamps, plenty of gas, some very large sockets, and a very heavy duty strong vice (I bent the lever on mine like a banana).
