My ride wears H&R Sport lowering springs. Have you considered these? They'll work on your car too.

H&R & Eibach both spec different part #'s for the V6/V8 Naturally Aspirated cars and the STR. The spring rates are different due to the CATS struts v/s non CATS. I suspect the R springs are a higher spring rate and if installed on a NON R may cause it to ride like a mechanical bull.

Physically they will fit and bolt in just fine.

Just Fyi.

Take care,

George

Hi George, I believe Joel's 03 4.2 has the CATS suspension. Other than that you're likely correct regarding difference in spring rate. Joel, does your 4.2 have CATS?

In UK, with all the speed bumps, no-one lowers their cars anymore! My Jag. has tough rubber ***** in the springs to actually RAISE the car just over an inch (fitted by me, not OEM...)

Innit mate! , When I looked at your location, it brought back long memories when I went to Leeds back in 00' The place is mostly a financial hub, but anyhow good old times I had there; getting into bar fights with soccer holigans and what not ... ,

Good thing you modded your jag's springs, the roads there were really horrible
