RE: MPG in 6CYL
indexcrown, thats about the same gas mileage on the city as you i lightly touch the pedal till i get up to speed limit theni put it on cruise control. As for the airbox about two minutes i took out the whole box when i put my k&n drop in filter much easier for me to assemble that way.I see on your sig you had a 350z w/test pipes that sounds so sweet.

RE: MPG in 6CYL
Hi,
I have 2000 3 liter V6 and am currently getting over 27 mpg/ tank with mixed driving. I have a K&N filter and my only other mod to the car has been inflating the tires to 42 psi all around. I accelerate moderately , try to anticipate stoplights, coastto a stopwhen its going to turn redand keep my freeway speed to the limit. My max. mpg on a tankful was 31 mpg on an all freeway run from Las Vegas to home here in the SF Bay area. I am thinking about doing some aero mods like chin spoiler, a grille block and under-belly covers. Enjoy your S-Type , they are great sport sedans.
Best wishes Vic
