Default my first STR thread

hey guys... this is my first official thread, I live in the GTA, I practice criminal, personal injury and traffic law. I also own a detail shop in Mississauga, I will be happy to offer jaguar forum discounts! I have had lots of cars, for the last 5 years I have owed my 2004 STR, bought it completely stock, now I have added my personal touches and factory part upgrades and have come up with this. Lots of upgrades coming over the next 2 months. Enjoy! I will show my jaguar evolution from stock to sick! there is a bunch of pics I cant find with suspension, lights and exhaust done, then I dipped the car mat white (at my shop) and now its back to original colour. I don't winter drive the car, its coming out in a few weeks with a full new gasket set, 3lbs pulley, new tires and a full polish... excited to bring it out, and if anybody in the gta knows of any str meets, im down! thanks guys.. enjoy the pics!

Hey ZenLaw, welcome to the forum, I replied to your other post, but ill copy and paste some of it here,

Sweet STR, saw it posted up for sale last year on Kijiji, was that you posting up the ad, or did you buy it off that owner?

The 20" XJ wheels look great on the STR, and the wrapped roof suits the look you've got going,

Only thing I would change, is those green calipers... definitely need to paint them a normal color...

Otherwise, nice to see you on the forums, some of us jag guys in the area meet up regularly in woodbridge for the la paloma meets throughout the summer, we should link up, let us know what you have planned for the jag too!

You can post up and keep track of the local jag meets in this thread, should be a fun car season for sure!

How hard is it to wrap? I have been thinking about that for a while.

And for the green calipers... 2011 and newer r badges like mine use the same neon green,if you have ever seen Jaguar gt2 gt1 race cars share same color calipers. I did not one morning wake up and pick a random color... It's a jag racing theme.. I personally love it as do the hundreds of people who pull me over and comment on the car..I have had nothing but loads of positive comments on the upgrades including the green calipers. They match the badges to a tee. Maybe you need to see it in real life. It actually looks awesome.

Yup, I kinda figured it was the "R green" you described, and not a random green; with that said, my tastes are a bit more... subdued, and it looks a bit too loud for me, but hey, to each his own, I totally see how that bit of green splashed in there can work for you, it definitively gives your black-themed STR that extra POP,

Otherwise, I hope to check it out in person for sure, definitely link up sometime at one of the meets, check out that thread in the Canada-members section!

Looks great! I practice law myself! I file cases throughout South Florida and my STR always gets me to the court on time . I've had some early morning high speed runs from West Palm Beach to Miami to get to hearings on time.

The 3# pulley requires one to grind down their supercharger snout. The 1.5# pulley does not (that's why I went for the 1.5# pulley).
