Riski, what did you run that day at the track? foffracing, keep the rear wing, it's worth a few ponies (just kidding). On (another) serious note...don't listen to these guys, their just jealous and will soon be "winging it" too. That you resurrected your "S" and made her look mean is a feat in itsself. She's looks mean, sexy, and unique. Thanks for posting the pics.

The project was just the car running. A new thermostat housing aluminum, thermostat, radiator flush and it still was overheating, also killing fuel to the motor. Had to order the sensor from Jaaag, $15 bucks and a week later it fixed the problem. While doing that I put 8 new coils and plugs. Runs like a champ!!!

They just built NJ Motorsports Park so I figured lets make a road race car. Therefore the wing went on it for the road racing look.

Riski- Your car is way mad sick...totally incredible!!! My Jaaag is totally a junkyard save...did the whole project including car for just under $2800. That includes: 4 new tires, water thermostat housing, thermostat, cat back exhaust, mufflers, cut down rotors, brakes, spoiler, tinted windows 20%, tinted tailights and marker lights, right front fender, right front headlight, Satin black paint job, full tune up, removal of bull**** aftermarket security system. Also due to interior being moldy and ***, had to fix or replace lots of interior pieces. Had Gumball 3000 banner I got from NYC this summer...professional cut and stitched into headrest and armrest (front and back). Had A and C pillars wrapped in red Gucci seude, since the material came off of them.

Nice save. I saw the pictures of this beast in the gallery the other day and was wondering her story. Thanks for clearing things up.

By spending only $2800 for bringing the cat back to life and making her look like that is unique in it's own respect, hats off to you!

If yer runnin her soley for the track...keep the wing to push that bitch's *** down. If yer runnin her on the street the wing makes for an awesome platform for the rocket launcher or food tray at a burger joint. For the beach; yas can strap down boogy boards and dry damp beach towels and favorite shells on it?

So you are only managing the airflow over the rear?

2800 to do all that!!!! You should head up to Washington DC and show them how to spend money the right way and keep it under budget.

wow, good job bring her back to life!

Needs a pair of lowering springs (coil overs preferred), a turbo setup, and a carbon fiber hood and boot. After these things the wing would not look so bad keeping the down force on the rear . I would have painted the wings silver attachments to the boot black to keep the theme going.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks for all the comments...yeah this thing will be strictly track. It only has a salvage title. I know I could go through all the inspections, since I kept every receipt and have picture of the whole project.

Also it did not run and pieces of the engine were missing.

Here is a picture the day, I picked the Jaaag up.

Nice work there foff, I'm guessing that you didn't count your time in that 2800, but hey good job

PS, just noticed, you could do to update your location in your User CP, it is good to see roughly where members are based

foffracing,

You did a pretty slick job, especially knowing what the start point was and what you were able to do on a budget. Just for grins, here is a picture of a 1964 Coombs Jaguar MK2. Not quite murdered out, but fairly dark though. It was basically a track racer back in its day and in spirit your car resembles it in a lot of ways.
