My S-type slammed on 20" staggered wheels

Not advertising just trying to show off my car and offer help to others. I want to see people that aren't afraid to hook up there Jags and I feel the need to encourage them to go big, since no one else on here does.

catniped,
I'm usually not a fan of going big on wheels, but I have to say your Jag looks really nice with the choice.
I think you've done it tastefully and well - the black 20's go great with your burgundy Jag.

Hi, have 20" on my 05 stype r.. I had them special built for the car back in 2003 for my o3 stype r when I bought that car in 2002. When designed they took measurements of my brakes/offset, and a bunch of other things for fitment, when I sold my 03 and took them off and put them on my now 05.
They are GFG Beverly Hill Edition 3- piece forged. They are 9" the front with 245 and 10" in the back with 275. I have one picture in my gallery of my 03 that don't really do the wheels justice, but will update it in the next day or so with my 2005 with them.

I'm selling them. I have the two that are brand new in the box and the two that I put on the car for the pics.

cool, I believe the GFG are made by Giovanna, if I remember correctly(right?), just there forged line. I went and looked at the 09 XFR when it came out but it didn't like it, then checked out the 10 XFR and felt much more comfortable, the hood scoops and all the other things seemed much more refined, but then thought back to my 03 str that I bought from the lot, and about the deprecation and back off.
I am holding off on the cars for the moment has I have over 10 cars and two bikes, ( even though one is a supped up zuma 125cc scooter). Keep me posted on what you decide to fab in carbon, might be interested.

Love your plans. Wanted to answer the open question on car color...
As a car show judge for almost 20 years (now I feel old), I would say to keep your car a dark metallic color for paint judging. Burgundy is actually the best color to show off paint depth in my opinion, but you need to get rid of all orange peal and polish well. White cars will always have a disadvantage in paint and body judging due to lack of reflection. A good judge will use a book, tablet PC or something to gauge readability of the reflection with your paint. Perfect black is best, but once the nose gets chipped from driving, a burgundy, navy, racing green, etc metallic color has the advantage - with all else being equal. I used to have the points game down to a science when I showed cars every weekend and even went around 10 years undefeated in VW shows often with 100+ cars in my class.

I think i'll stick with the factory 17's on my s-type. Don't get me wrong, love the photos and i think the both sets of wheels go really well with the carnival red paintwork.
I've always been a great believer in only fitting the biggest sized wheels that the manufacturer would sell the car with. That way, theres a faint chance that the ride quality and handling will stay balanced without the need of spending days tweeking suspension setups.
Nice car

If iirc the 19's were only on R's with CAT's suspension. Mine isn't an R and doesn't have CAT's. Am thinking about a set of 18's for the old girl but not sure what design to go for, be it Jaguar originals or aftrmarket
