Ouch that sucks!

You should be able to use doors from any s-type so you could always try Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market

OK so you want to try to get it running or part it out huh. Well, that damage looks pretty severe and I'd recommend a professional body shop do the work to get it right.

I'm in Pittsburgh and could lend you a hand here and there, depending on where you are in the area.

If you want to part it out, I am definitely interested in taking several parts off of your hands, including the wheels if they are straight.

Send me a PM with your name/contact info if you want to discuss.

Get it fixed, you have the time. Don't look at the whole thing and stress, do little parts at a time, make a list of things that it needs and start checking them off as you go.

If you have tools you can begin work on this Jag.

Your Jag is fixable. First analyze then contain the oil leak. Popping on and off doors are basically straight forward.....

hmmmmmmmmmm could be a project...........also let me know where your at, if it starts you can put it at my garage so it isnt rusting.

I can then throw a "lets get some work done on this new toy in the shop" party.

A mid 60's GTO was just delivered in rough condition. And if they can get that thing set up, im sure they would have fun with an STR

Vamp, you park your jag (or any other nice cars) in my garage any time. Be sure to leave the keys, ya know, in case I have to move it.

Default Ruined Jag

From the pix , your cat is very fixable. Start with a real serious check over of the engine, like the motor mounts and specfically identify all leaks. If it will not hold oil , it has to be going somehere if not burned. Assuming you buds in Pittsburg can get you a comfortable place to work, a methodical rebuild should be straight forward. Agreeing with a previous post, get a pro for the body work and paint. It is always worth the money for a proferssional shop finish. Remember you are swapping the value of your labor insteda of buying a tech time so be willing to learn from the mistakes. Be sure you research the value of the parts before you buy/sale. George has a parts STR that should be useful but I have not heard from him in about 2 weeks.
Good luck on reinstating your license..mayb attending a safe driver school would expedite the process.

Could have something to do with legal problems. Hard to post from jail??? Stange post for sure. From what I read, I'd say his best bet is sell the car off and use the money for the legal problems. Seems he won't be driving it anyway.

I dunno, the accident was almost a year ago, seem to me most legal issues would have been resolved already. Seems like a flake.
