Mystery Sunroof Issue

Mystery Sunroof Issue
This has happened twice; locked the and came out to find the car locked, the windows closed and the sunroof open. I'm familiar with the global opening feature but am not aware of how this could happen (sunroof only). Could it be a signal from the remote of another Jag (I own four of them). Nightmare scenario if it happens when it's raining or snowing.
Any thoughts?

Thinking of this thread?:

The root cause was a battery with one foot in the grave. Not sure that thread is entirely applicable here, as all windows were opening in addition to the sunroof.

Thanks airthclub1, that was a very informative link and greatly appreciated. I purchased this car last August and immediately replaced the bad battery, so I doubt that that is the issue. The remote seems to work well, but I'm going to replace the battery. I've had locking/unlocking issues in the past where the car would lock itself as soon as you closed the door and alternatively, refused to stay locked. It appeared to be a intermittent connection in the passenger door actuator and flares up from time to tome. Here again I would assume that if this were the problem, it would cause the windows to open also. Here's left-field guess; I own four Jags and sometimes have more than one remote in my pocket at the same time. Sometimes I try to unlock one car with the another's remote which obviously doesn't do it. Last guess; module that controls global opening is confused (I'm 80 and know the feeling well).
Thanks for everyone's input.

Yes I was going to suggest it might have something to do with the door actuators. Anytime the car locks or unlocks for no reason the actuators are the prime suspect. Because if they don't feedback their position correctly to the car the system is confused and defaults usually to the unlock position.
Maybe Jaguar does that for safety otherwise you might get locked out of your car? Not sure just guessing here.

UPDATE: Was driving today and the sunroof started to open then moved backward and forward several times before opening all the way. Pushed the switch to close, no movement. Tried again a few seconds later and got it to close only to repeat 3 or 4 more times. Closed it and turned off the ignition. I don't think it will open on its own with the ignition off, but I'm pulling the fuse just to be sure. I'm thinking it's an intermittent contact situation within the switch (maybe from a water leak), and hopefully not one of the modules. Has anyone removed the switch from the overhead console and, if so, how big a job is it?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but I have a self-inflicted problem. I removed the sunroof fuse over the winter to make sure it wouldn't open on its own and forgot to write down the fuse location and number (can't remember where I found it before). Can anyone provide me with the location and fuse number? I haven't been able to find it on any of the diagrams I looked at.
Thanks!
Thanks!
