Default Need help identifying these wheels

These wheels are OEM Jaguar wheels right out of the box in MINT condition. The person tells me they are for a X-Type but I have yet to find one with these wheels on.

I think they may be for an S-Type, but would fit anyway. They are 17x7.5 if I did the measuring correctly.

Take a look and let me know what yr/model they came off of. There is a stamp on the inside of all the wheels that say they were made in July of 2004, with Made in Italy stamped on the inside hub of the rims too.

They look like what came on my 01 S type but slightly different.
Probably from a later model like 03 or 04 17" were an option wheel I think 16" was standard.at least in 01 it was

I agree they look like early S type wheels for a 3.0L model although that exact design doesnt look familiar to Jaguar. There is a wheel of very close design that is a 16in S Type wheel.

There are some brochures which include wheels on the jag-lovers site so have a look there.

Thanks I looked there.. They had all of the press info when it was brand new, options, etc.. Not a year by year breakdown of the models and options. Same with the X-Type

The guy I got them from said he work at a Jaguar dealer here in NYC. And the wheels are OEM Jaguar wheels for an X-Type but I never have seen them on an X before. Which made me believe they are from a S-Type..

I couldnt pass up the deal, they are in 100% mint condition, out of the box and I paid $200 for the set.. I just need new tires for the wheels. (My current ones are worn so it works out perfectly)

Still maybe someone else could chime in and give some info..

I saw those but they are 12 spoke.. The ones I have are 10 spoke and I have not seen these on any X-Type on the road.

Very strange..

I also did a little hunting on some of my bookmarked wheel pages, and could only find this model as being the closest... Belize, for the s-type.

This one I found was again, 12-spoke, maybe the 10 was a mistake from the original vendor that got shipped? Call it a custom jag wheel and enjoy!

So, did another look. They actually look very much like the Helios wheel. It is a 10 spoke but is a 16" wheel.

How did you measure your wheels? Mine are 17" Kronos and when I measure the outside lip it measures 18.5".

Here is a link to a 2004 accessory catalog for all models. The Helios wheel is in there.

I measured lip to lip and it was 17".. And then lip to lip front to back was 7.5"

Hopefully tomorrow I will pull one of my wheels off and make sure these bolt up like the person I bought them from said they would. And then I will get new tires/alignment and its perfect..

From an earlier post it sounds like you're measuring them as too large and they are probably 16". Have you read up on how to measure wheels? That must be on the net somewhere! There are other things to measure, too, before trying to fit them so be sure to find out what they are and how to check.
