I removed my unit and it is easy just remove your cover “D” on both sides and the one at the bottom and you will find bolts under them. Now to remove the unit you will need to put your shifter in “D” to do that. Do not pull on the unit hard because you have wire in the back for the radio and heat & a/c. I removed the shifter ball to make the job easier. I hope this helps.


I guess I was a day late and a dollar short on this one….

will "D" come out by prying it? i dont wanna break it if not... and r u sure that frame will come out if i do that? there appears to be screws coming from above and below it on the inside. let me know, i hope your right
