Default New front struts

Ok, my problem is probably stupid to you guys, but everytime I hit a bump I hear this clicking sound from the right front. I was told by the dealer that it was the shocks. My car is a 2001 S-Type where can I buy the struts. What website can I order these from. Also is there ahow to for this install anywhere?

Thank You.

Here's one place!
http://oe.replacementshocks.com/part...01&make=JA

I would try to find a repair manual or cd to explain the install on ebay. I'll bet once you get a look at the shocks you can figure it out. Maaybe one of the techs can be more helpfull.

Don't be so quick to call it the struts or shocks! The most likely cause is the ball-joint which is a VERY common problem with our cars! Specially our year bud! Try going to another dealer and see what they say!

Biggie is on to something. We sell far more ball joints than struts for these cars. And the cool thing is we have the ball joints separately so you don't have to buy the vertical link.

I was thinking more of sway bar bushings, seen a lot of those for front end noise over bumps, try to go over bump with one wheel
see if it clicks, most likely, then go over again but with both wheels,
if no click, sway bar bushings.
