New Guy to S-Types
Hi all, I just joined this morning and wanted to let y'all know that I look forward to learning all I can from you S-type owners out there.
I'm driving my daughter's silver 2003 with the V8, which I'm becoming aquainted with quite nicely since getting it from her last week. I have it so I can fix a couple things - the heater and key fob, then I'll return it back to her this coming spring. It's her high school graduation gift.
See you around!

Be prepared to open your wallet...Assume the worst, that you'll need to buy a new keyfab from ebay for around $100 and have a Jag dealer cut and program it (usually another $100-$200)...Maybe, just maybe it's a dead battery and if so here's how to fix it: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...-up-faq-54380/
With the heat, a part called a DCCV could be to blame along with other things. I would bring the car to a mechanic and ask if they can find any coolant leaks to help with the diagnostics...
