Default New Loaner Program

So, my dealer has refreshed their loaner fleet......

K...Just kidding... Actually one of our IT guys stopped over at the DC with his Father In-Law's 2009 XKR Portfolio.... 420 hp worth of lovely open air driving.. From what he said, Jaguar only imported 200 of them...It is such a beautiful car I figured I had to share... And there sits my jealous S in the background...Man I should have gotten a V8!

Thanks Rick and Caddy,,,,

Thinking of another thread... I wonder what is quicker..XKR or STR..

It is such a nice car..Real smooth ride for a "sports" car. It was a quick cruise but got a chance to feel that supercharged V8 just a bit. Oh, and the touch screen sucks with the top down. Real washed out. Other than that...It was also funny to see how many components are shared across the range..

Whenever you begin to feel a twinge of jealousy or envy, just remind yourself what you paid for yours, and what he must have paid for his....

That should make it quite a bit easier to bring yourself back to reality....

Yea, it was over 100k.....still, one of a handful.....And he leased it! Someone is going to get one sweet car in three years, unless he keeps it.

Oh, BTW, they like Jaguar Cleveland so much that his Mother In-Law traded in her Toyota van for a new LR4. That one they bought...

I couldn't live with myself if I paid that kind of money for a car - purchase OR lease. It just violates far too many of my economic principles....

This will be my next Jag in about 11-12 months.

Will go for a 08 hardtop XKR (don't like drop tops)
Cost will be about 40-50% of what they were new.
