You basically can't. Be aware - do NOT fit it.

What do you think is wrong with the current one? (Normally people have misdiagnosed a fault.)

You can get it rebuilt.

Default I need to have my pcm rebuilt

Hello again. I found that I have to send my pcm out to have it rebuilt... but my mechanic said it would cost $600 + 3-4 hours labor it's going to cost me a total of $1,000!! Oh my god I can't believe that a fried battery and few jumps did this?? Anyway I researched a little bit and found a very suitable company to rebuild it for me for about $400. Can you maybe help me find a better deal than that, or is that the best price you think I can get? Thank you for your time, I do appreciate it!!

Let us know how it comes out.

As JagV8 said the ECM does not go bad very often and you might not get your problem fixed after it has been replaced.
