I love the fact it does have the leaper on the front. It brings out the Jaaaagness of the car. If you've got it flaunt it.....!

+1. S-Types without the leaper are not quite 'balanced' in my mind. I still look twice while in the UK thinking that some nasty has snatched it.

I parked up in the city centre the other day, I was sure some blighter was going to have the leaper away. Alas it was still there when I got back. I'm like this every time I leave it somewhere different.

Very Very nice looking " S " Love the colour & the wheels . No probs with grey skies , I live in Gloucestershire , & we get them down here too. I also have 2.5 ( great all rounder ) but I lose some BHP due to 4x4. Hello & welcome .

Hi mate, I also used to have the x-type which at the time I thought was an absolute dream of a motor. To cut a long story short I can honestly say for shear poise, balance, handling and driving experience the X couldn't hold a candle to the S. Both cars were the sport. In my experiance the S beats the X hands down for overall driving prowess and quality. I recommend you test drive an S sport! (2003 and on).
Not in the Snow though LOL......!

A bit of an update:
boot spoiler fitted with the tow-bar removed and some badges fitted to the rear
What do you reckon.

Looks nice, spoiler is tasteful and definitely adds a sporty look to the car.
Beautiful S-Type.
