New window slow

I did some wrenching on the S type Saturday. I replaced the coolant tank to take care of the leak - thanks to all who have posted info on this site! It seems to have worked well.
Then I replace the front right window regulator since the old one broke. I followed the instructions in the JITS, but the new one moves real slow. I lubricated everything and messed around with the clamps on the glass, but sometimes it actually stops on the way up and I have to press the button again. I suppose it will be OK since it does go up and down, and I'm not afraid of it falling into the door like the broken one, but I can't help thinking maybe there's something I can do to make it work better. Any ideas?
Thanks!
Nathan

The unit came with a motor attached, and yes, I did loosen things to see if it made a difference. I looked at swapping the factory motor back on, but the mounting looked a little different and I didn't want to get into that. I'm glad to hear others have had the same issue - maybe I'll just hang onto the old motor in case I feel like trying to swap them out.
Thanks for your input.

Just to finish this thread a bit. Be aware that the window regulators are available with and without the motor.
The motor rarely goes bad. So it will be cheaper to just get the regulator and transfer your old motor. All the ones I have seen are only 3 bolts and about a 5 minute job to change over to the new regulator.
One caution that I mentioned above is the motor needs to be "clocked" or positioned correctly. Otherwise the window will act funny and only roll up part way or reverse in mid-stream. Try to put the regulators in the same position before unhooking the electric plug.
