No I didn't see it I felt it and it was appropriate as I was turning tight and it had just started to sprinkle so the rears lost a bit of traction. You could hear the tires a bit but the car was perfectly composed. Of course this probably wouldn't have happened at all if it weren't for the previous lurching. I flet compelled to punch it a bit so it would MOVE!

The other incidents, lurching, were seperate situations.

I was surprised too by the "grabby" brakes the first weeks of driving the R. I used to race a Subaru STi which also had Brembos from the factory but felt nothing like the Jag's. LIke some people already said, it just takes getting used to. They are powerful brakes though so I love that!

Driving with the tranny on "4" instead of "D" on side streets, I must say I haven't really felt the lurching when slowing down. In Sport mode and "4" the car LEAPS off the line.....so fricken nice! lol.

 

OK I'll try that on the next test drive. Finding one is the problem.

No need to delete that one. A decent point but I actually think he doesn't know sh*t from Shinola about the S-type either. It's OK, no one expects really crack salespeople in the used department. He looked very new as well. I have a friend who was Jag salesman for 15 years but he only drove these as brand new cars and never dealt with the service issues.

Offtopic: I use this software in a number of places but there they let you edit your posts. Some for only a short while. This is very helpful if you have an error like I did recently with links not working properly. Instead I have a slew of worthless posts. I'm sure there's a reason but I don't understand it.
