Well...

Best in class, until...

I ultimately lost points when the exterior judge penalized me for non-authentic wheels. Chrome wheels are not legal:

Wheels: Wheels must be the correct factory size, type, finish, and style for the model. Ace Discs
& Rimbellishers are permitted if they were offered by the factory for the specific model. Bolt-on
wire wheels are non-authentic. Wire wheels should
have the same number of spokes as the original.
Chrome plated wheels, not offered as a Jaguar factory option, must be scored as
non-authentic in Champion Division
.


According to the judge no Jaguar has come from the factory with chrome wheels, therefor my wheels are not "authentic" and I lost points where I otherwise would not have. They made a mistake during judging and the penalty was not recognized at the time. For that reason I won the class but only temporarily.

They'll be coming around to take my trophy away, soon...
