Alright so this is a 2000 s-type 4.0 with about 95k...
About a week or two ago it started throwing a code, p1388 "valve/cam timing over retarded bank 2, check ECM wiring". It actually went on and off for about a week. The guy at Autozone said right away, you need a new ECM(lol?) It was running great so I decided to just let it slide for now until I had more time to get into it.
Here's where it goes bad. Yesterday I was crossing a bridge on the way up one side I went to give it some gas to climb that hill like a V8 kitty should and it revved really high without shifting... So i let off the gas and reengage, it seemed to shift and all was fine. then on the way down the bridge I realized my power steering was out and was like damn she stalled??? First time shes ever stalled one me.
So I proceed to try and start her I am cranking good so right away I'm thinking there's no fuel being pumped. After about 5 minutes of trying maybe once a minute I turn her over with the pedal floored I got her to catch revved her to like 5k and when I let off the gas she died again...
Looking to get a tow today and was wondering if you guys had any suggestions. I think if it was a fuel pump then I wouldn't have been able to get her to start even a little bit yesterday so I'm ruling that out. ECM maybe? Is there some sort of fuel regulating module I should be aware of? Any ideas on troubleshooting procedures?
I work and go to school full-time so getting this kitty purring is my number one priority atm shes my only transportation option. My dad is going to bring an OBD2 reader to see if shes throwing any more codes later.
Thank you all for your time and replies!

I don't know anybody that would download and open a .zip file from a random stranger. I sure won't. Try posting whatever you've got to YouTube.
These engines don't have timing belts. How long ago did you check/change the chain tensioners?
