HELP! I have a 2000 S Type that won't start due to the anti theft system. Here is what we have done so far, we have gotten new keys and programed them, when that did not work we put in a new ignition switch, that didn't work, so we re re-programed the keys just to make sure. The engine just cranks and cranks. For a while it would finally start after several minutes of cranking, now it does not.

Sounds like you need a competent jag tech who can work through the car step by step rather than changing things in hope.
You can help anyone involved by having a clear & concise written description of its history as well as what it's like now, plus details of the car - length of ownership, repairs & maintenance, exact type of fuel used etc. (The kinds of things you've not even put in your profile, and lots more.) The more you fail to tell the tech, the more it's likely to cost as he figures them out.
That it would crank and eventually start means it was almost certainly NOT the anti-theft. Why do you say it was that?
