Default Noise coming from my right wheel

Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Im driving a 2000 s-type. Any time the car rocks over a bump or if I turn the steering wheel left or right, there is a load nasty high pich noise the comes from my right wheel. There seems to be a part that is worn-out. here are some pictures from what i think is making the noise.

Based on your pictures that ball joint is toast. The rubber boot is torn or gone altogether. You can confirm this is the source of the noise by jacking up the wheel and putting a pry bar between the upper arm and the vertical link. If there is any movement it confirms that the ball joint is shot.

It also appears that your shock is leaking. How many miles on your car?

The lower joints is probably the noise you are hearing. The upper joints don't make noise. But I would do the vertical link and the upper arms. I think you can get the lower ball joints with having to buy the the vertical links. But I don't think you can get the upper joints seperate from the upper control arm. I would have the whole front suspension checked to see what else is bad. I bet the toe link adjuster boots in the rear are torn up, and the sway bar link boots torn to. Those upper arms are expensive. I would shop around online. They should be the same as a lincoln Ls?

Two weeks ago I purchased a used low mileage lower wish bone (Jag wants $600) form Conventry West (Atlanta, Ga.) for $275. You can also check Jaguar Heaven (California) too.

The upper can squeak just like the lowers do. The upper pivots when the spindle is turned just like the lowers. By the looks of that pic your uppers are shot. If you dont want to spend too much I would start by replacing those, if you are wrenching on it yourself, since they are the most visibly worn out. I had the same problem on an Audi I had with the squeaking and it was only the uppers that were shot but since they sell all the control arms in a kit I replaced all of them (there are 4 arms per side on an Audi, 2 upper, 2 lower).

The kit was for an Audi I had that I did suspension work on. The Jag from what I've seen only sells them individually. Are you wanting to know about the Audi or the Jag? If you are wanting to know for the Jag I can check on the sites I search for parts at and let you know what I found for cheapest for the arms. Just need to know year since I think they changed some in 03+ not entirely sure though.

Vance580 - thank you for offering. For my VDP I have already changed all of the bushings and ball joints in the front suspension so I did not purchase any new arms. This saved a huge amount of money but was very labor intensive.

I was actually wondering how much the 4 new arms cost for the Audi that you had

For my Audi it was an A8 1998 it was about 450. I ended up getting a kit off of ebay that had 2 uppers and 2 lowers, 2 tierod ends, and the sway bar end links. It also had some hardware but some of it didnt go. Found out later while it was ripped apart that the kit was for the A4 since I believe most Audi have the same control arm setup there was just one arm that was different on each side so had to pick those up seperate. At the end it cost 450 with some additional hardware I had to buy. If you ever do them there is a pinch bolt that is pretty much impossible to get off if you have any rust which you most likely will since the water from the tires splashing right on it. Had to get those seperate also. Didnt think 450 was too bad since I was quoted over 1000 for just parts everywhere else I looked. If I had a shop do it it had been quoted over 1800. So I feel I definitly saved some money which made the month I worked on it worth it (drilling out the pinch bolts mixed with ordering arms that were wrong, and rain came to the month). But at that time it was an extra car so wasnt in too much of a rush.
