Unhappy O2 sensor replaced,now hesitates ??

Hi guys -

Some advice - A couple of weeks ago I had the O2 Sensor replaced (engine light illuminated - pointed to one bad O2 sensor) Now my car seems to hesitate - I can't swear to it (haven't done the manual mileage yet) , but I think my MPG has gone down too.. any advice?

Do I need to take it back in for a failed adjustment?

Thanks Much,
Carl

If your MPG is down I'd imagine that means unburnt fuel which then may destroy a cat. Surely they can check the O2 sensor waveforms and make sure everything is OK.

I'm hoping they swapped the correct bank's sensor and also that they did use the correct kind of sensor.

Please do let us know what you find out on this. Several of us are experiencing similar problems (prior to replacing O2 sensors) and wondering if they might be the issue.

Thanks.

Default O2 sensor...

Hi guys, sorry, been traveling.

They replaced the O2 sensor and it still hesitated. I took it back, they cleaned the throttle body (>?? go figure) .. and the hesitation stopped.

Hmmm, was this done a a Jag dealer? I've read on here that the throttle body is NOT to be cleaned....
