ok so the show is on the 5th??

what is everyone doing on the 4th then?

Should we have a mini meet before the show somewhere?

Maybe meet for a small dinner on the 4th? off of route 51 and 70? have some beer and wings possibly???

Yep, show is on Sunday the 5th.

Still not real sure how many will make it on the 4th and at what time, but some are staying at that Hampton Inn off 70 - and there is that wings and beer joint Red Dawgs or something like that real close that could be a meet up place. I guess it just depends, it would be nice if some are around early enough to go for a drive down around Ohiopyle.

I think details will come fast and furious close to the show when everyone figures out exactly when they will show up.

I know me, Norri and Joycesjag will be up Friday so we should be game for anything on Sat. Definitly be down for a drive and some grub. Hopefully some more people post up their expected day of arrival so there could be a set in stone time when most people will be there. I think most people will at least be there for some grub Sat night though.

It's looking very favorable for me that I attend at this juncture. I don't think I can come on Friday Night but I should be there Saturday. Normally, I'm up and functional around 5am so a bit before or after could be my anticipated leave time. I'm in Rockville Maryland and would like to know if there is anyone coming from south of MD going also. We could make a little convoy and ride up together.

I could actually leave on Friday also but I have to work, and would rather be refreshed when going to such an event. I haven't given heavy thought to where I'd stay yet, perhaps at the Hampton as most are suggesting.

This is really starting to sound exciting!!! Red Dawgs isn't the cheapest place but it's pretty nice. Plus it's big enough to accomadate a crowd. I'll ask around about cheap wings on Sat. I sometimes do a local club but their wing nite is Monday & I couldn't sign you all in anyway.

Well out to the garage to finish up the final sanding. I'm starting to get nervous but once the paintwork is done, they go together pretty quick.

Well, I may be hosed for Saturday the 4th. I just got an invitation to my little brother's high school graduation party from 4pm to 8pm that day, and it's about 120 miles away from where the Hampton Inn is. Not sure how I can make that work but I'll try.

I'm pretty sure some of the guys will still be at the food place after 10 for drinks. That would be cool to have a little car show at the wing joint. I'm down for anything for the meet.

If I remember correctly, that Big Dawgs is in a shopping complex that includes a Wal Mart, Lowes, and some other stores. The parking lot is pretty large so getting a block of spots should be easy.

I remember going to a bar in that area in my college days called Uncle Walt's Tavern. I don't think I would eat there, but they had 32oz Long Islands for $5. Cool place. Maybe 10 minutes from the Hampton Inn.

If the Hampton Inn where most of you are staying is managed as good as the one in Visalia (Central Cali.), then it is a good place to stay.
We were there in the middle of winter and found out the first morning that the thermostat didn't work(be sure to check your's out to be sure).
Visalia is not amongst the warmest places on earth in the middle of winter. Management placed us in another room, with workimg thermostat, and it was quite pleasant.
The good part is that after a "pleasant conversation" with them, they knocked off the first nights rent from the bill.

Where does Terry Bradshaw hang? Cause that's where the action is.

LOL - Bradshaw doesn't live here anymore. But, Ben Rothelisberger and Troy Polamalu live in the development down the street from me. Seth I'll point you in the right direction and you can try to scale the fences that surround their houses. Bring some treats for the dogs....

I doubt Red Dawgs has lobster, but there is a seafood joint over by the river - Stone Crab I think it's called.
