LOL - thanks Jason.
Sounds like a great idea. OK - so let's get a list going. If you wish to exchange cell numbers, please send me a PM and indicate in that message if it is OK to share your number with the rest of the members who will be attending the event. If you do not wish to have your number distributed, but would like to share it with me only just in case, that is fine as well just specify that in your message.
Let's put a deadline on the group cell message PM as well. If you could have your number to me by Tuesday, May 31st that would be great. Then I will send out a PM to everyone with all of the numbers that are to be shared.
Sound good?

Chris: PM sent on the phone number....
Good idea. To those that are hesitant... It may be good thing to have a list since many are traveling across some states. This way, if you run into an issue you can make some calls.. IE.. I'm not going until Sunday AM but if anyone has an issue as they pass through Ohio, by all means, call me.
Not that anyone would want to be rescued by a lowly Chrysler...

Pulled the early weather forecast for next weekend. Keep in mind that the forecasters around here have a hard time getting today's weather even close to correct, much less this far out. But at least we will have a general idea.
Friday June 3rd: partly cloudy, highs in mid 70's, lows in low 60's
Saturday the 4th: mostly sunny, 77H - 64L
Sunday the 5th (Day of the Show): Scattered T-storms possible. High of 80, low 65.
Each day, particularly Sunday, will probably be fairly humid. So it may feel even hotter.
For Pittsburgh, that forecast is actually just about as good as it gets for any 3 day period. LOL....

I just realized there is also a Comfort Inn at the intersection of Rt 51 & I70. Used to be a Motel 6 so nothing fancy. In case it isn't working at the Hampton for anyone.
I am sitting outside Starbucks with my recently aquired laptop. Saturday morning a woman in a Jeep Liberty left the road in frt of my place and did a cartwheel. In the process she clipped a guywire to a utility pole, snapping it off. So my phone & internet has been dead since. Verizon said it would be fixed yesterday but the worker packed up & left around noon. I seriously doubt anyone will be out today. The woman was checked out at the hospital & released.

That's inexcusable performance. Long ago, I worked at the olde General Tel. Co. (forerunner to Verizon) as an installer/repairman. If I had left the job like that, I would have been fired on the spot.
I suggest you call repair service NOW and get them out today...NO excuses..they can very well work today..as I had to on occasion. Get a supervisor and be extra firm if you need to.
If it were me, my voice would be heard several blocks away. There is NO excuse for them to not fix it asap...

I sent a PM to everyone who looks to be at the hotel or in the area Saturday, requesting that someone confirm to Jason whether or not the trip to his friend's place is a go or no go.
From vance580's post earlier in the thread it looks pretty good that it may be a go but let's let Jason know for sure please.
Thanks all!! Really looking forward to this event.
Oh - and Jason, I think a few might be bringing kids with them, would that be OK for your buddy's place?

kids are fine,
TigerTownBBQ.com is the website.
if you look at the website, and you mention the website you get 10% off. Just saying.
I will most likely have my 2 girls with me anyway, 7 and 13. So if you have kids, they can get their own table, my 13 year old will be the table sitter. :-)
If everyone is good for this, i need to know as i would like to reserve the whole front parking section for us. :-)
A count of who is going would be great.
