Default Oh boy not again

Hi everyone
as some of you know two weeks ago some idiot ran up the back of my 2002 s type R
Well today while my wife was at shopping center
another idiot hit her 2004 s type and took off
Beginning to think people in the town I live in
In New Zealand dont like s types
Two cars damaged in three weeks

Default Yikes . . . !!!

Aaah Darrol,

Feeling every bit of that pain from over the ditch. No sooner sorting the STR, then this happens. I do hope that your wife wasn't in the car at the time and that she is not too traumatised by this event. I suppose good news may be that you have perfectly good front panels from your former ride that won't need to go onto the donor STR chassis you are building. Insurance cover repairs? although I know this is no real consolation.

Sharing your pain and happy to help with any advice needed from afar, but I think this is one for the pro's
Cheers and best wishes mate,

Bugga.

Also trust wife is OK???

Same in Downtown Adelaide.

Wife's 01 S got totaled in Jan by a driver with white powder "stuff" around his nose, not hard to work that out, MONGREL

1 week later, we be shopping. Security tracked me down, they all know us and the cars, and suggested I return to the X Type. Woman is a Commodore, "thought" she put it in park, duh. Rolled away and biffed the RHR corner. My only comment to her, GET OFF YOUR DAMN PHONE AND PAY ATTENTION.

Another S will be back in the fleet, when we find the RIGHT car.

Hi thanks
Yes wife ok luckily she was not in the car
I don't know what it is like over in Australia with insurance
but in new Zealand the stupid thing is it is not Compulsory
So we have lots of Uninsured drivers on or roads
Phoned my insurance company today wifes car is going in tomorrow to be repaired

cheaper to let insurance deal with it
As my crashed STR is a different color
So only coast me $500.00
To get hers fixed
Thanking you
Darrol

Damn! No registration and no license? Sounds like the US and we DO have compulsory insurance!
Good luck getting blood from a stone! Sounds like they don't have a dime to their name either.

I would inspect the main wiring harness cables carefully for damage, broken, compression, frayed wires etc.

Front wing, RH headlamp, and Bumper, washer bottle/pumps is easy enough to change out and replace.

A wiring harness, if not fully repaired, replaced is tricky to fault find, find replacement and replace.

Hope it works out well.
