I would do a search. Oil threads aren't really gonna get you anywhere. Just use one that is spec'd in the owners manual and use the weight that the manual recommends for your climate and you will be good. I will say dont use Purolator PureONE oil filters at least on an STR they dont seat all the way when tightend and you will seep oil and have a small drip.

You'll find it's a generally knowledgeable and very helpful bunch, here, though I fear you may've started with a topic that has already spawned many discussions albeit few conclusions. Use Valvoline in whatever grade the manual recommends for your climate. The more you buy, the greater the chance the stock appreciates, the better my 5 kids' chances of affording college!
