Default Oil leaking from vacuum pump gasket

Anybody know where to buy the gasket for this? It works, just leaks and Jaguar is over priced at $500 a part. Just ridiculous.

I think he is in the wrong place???

I "believe" that is the gear driven vacuum pump on the 5.0L V-8?
Stuart please do some searches as this has been answered before. Yes you can just replace the O-ring BUT be aware that many people have found this cover to have loose bolts.
So your repair may be very simple and cheap?
Best to get the car on a lift and remove belly pans for easy access.

Also do NOT delay fixing this!! We have had at least one member destroy his engine because so much oil leaked out of the vacuum pump.
With the number of belly pans on this car you might not ever see anything on the ground when parking.
It could be building up and then blown out when the car is moving at speed.

I believe you are correct. Quite a few of the OP's posts are in the F-type forum...

Its the 2 regular bolts, or larger hex bolts depending on what year you have..
