Default Perfomance Parts

Wassup with y'all? I recently purchased a S-Type R and am looking to see if anyone knew if there is a specific website to get performance parts?

For hard parts, powerhouseUK or zz performance....also, member caldoofy makes a sweet one piece intake tube....also the range rover intake to throttle body pipe makes a difference....search my threads, you will find it....for a tune, check alexjag threads on this forum...mostly intake, charger pulley and tune, are reasonable cost wise....higher priced stuff would be a quaife limited slip and upgraded charger...good luck

I've been a hot rodder since the 1980's... been down the drag strip in street riven cars thousands of times. NA, SC, N2O, Turbo.. you name it I've raced it on street tires and slicks.

Here is my best advise..... IMO w/a S-Type R (that is new to you) I highly recommend you address all the normal S-Type wear items first. Second look into all the "R" common problems and fix them. Once those are lined out THEN get into increasing the power and ability to harness it.

The worst thing you can do is increase the power on a car that is already failing in some way. You'll throw cash at it (most likely debt and not actual savings) and then get frustrated and sell it all at a loss. <---- this is the common story for young guys wanting to go faster

Before you do any mods do a couple of 0-60 and 1/4 mile tests.
Do the same after the mods and you will see how much, or how little it has improved.
Sadly you may be disapointed!

Before you mod anything, figure out what direction you want to tweak your car in. What purpose is it going to serve? Daily driver and track? What percentage (realistically)? No point doing expensive changes that give you regrets. Plan, then move
