Hi I need some advice please. I have a Jaguar S Type 2004. UK CAR. It has a phone (wired) in the centre Cubby and it works fine with a SIM card installed. However, I would love to be able to use my Iphone 4 but it seems there is no Bluetooth. I do have the Sat nav screen with full Climate and Phone on screen. Also Voice Recognition.
What do I need to do or obtain and fit to be able to get A Bluetooth enabled Phone? I already have all the mics and speakers etc so it is just the Bluetooth to get it intergarated into the on screen phone etc so my address book loads.
I had a similar problem on a Porsche Cayenne I had and a box was bought which took care of this and worked faultlessly. Can the same be done for the jag? I expect so! Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Another thing is the TV in dash, NO Picture! I assume it looks for analogue signals? Can this be converted to take Digital Signals and so work? Again any help! Regards Dave

 

You probably need another mic but for sure you need a BTUM and there are very detailed threads here / XType forum (maybe UK forum) if you use Search on

For TV of course you need a digital tuner and your main hope is to Search on the UK forum. Frankly why fit it...
