Well....This is a Ford dealership, and I told the salesman that I couldn't pay what they were asking because the factory Nav was missing. What he doesn't know might help me.

What I don't know could hurt me: what is the lifespan of a 2004 S-Type with a 3.0? I looked on ebay to see what sort of mileage the cars the three 2004 S-Types had mileage in the 60,000 range. 2003 S-Types had more miles, with some going as high as 130,000 miles.

LOL! What's up George? Good to hear from ya. If it wasn't for George's decision "not" to buy a certain 2003 silver STR with 85k on clock at auction, it would have not gone to the dealer that I purchased it from and this could have led to me not owning such a beautiful car and not participating in this forum. Thank you George.

If I had you as a customer on the car, I would have bought it....

Look at it this way, if I wasn't bidding against the guy who sold it to you, It wouldn't have gotten to the price it did, and the seller wouldn't have cut it loose. And you would have never found it.... So in your situation I played my part perfectly.

Take care,

George
