Default Picking up my 07 STR this weekend!

Pretty excited about my purchase and looking forward to driving it on my 3 hour ride home. Guess it's gonna be the true meaning of a road test! I should learn a lot during this drive! Hope all is good with this car as I really don't wanna have to drive 3 hours back to the dealer for warranty work or anything else for that matter. Guess we will see this sat!

Congratulations,

I look forward to seeing the photos.

3 hour drive home. Nice. Make it last longer though and enjoy the car more. Lol.

I really fancy an R.

Thanks
Mike.

You have a very rare car!!

Please post some pictures because at the end Jaguar was doing all kinds of things on the option list. Just never know what you will see on a 2007 or 2008 STR.

Hopefully you have a closer dealer? There are a few things that the dealer really is necessary and I am very glad I have 4 dealers in the Houston area to choose from. Lucky for me Brutal works at one of them!!

Have fun - but watch your speed. You'll understand when you drive it...

Injekter what part of NY? That's where I'm from! I wonder if it's the silver one with dark windows in Astoria?

Congrats wuz! As mentioned post up some pics ASAP.

Oh BTW, we did not purchase an STR years ago but just a "granny" 3.0 I turned what should have been a 9 hour first drive home from the dealer into a 7 hour drive .

Tbird what do you mean rare? What are some things my car should have compared to other STR's?

Not only the STR but the other S-Types as well. My 4.2 Satin Edition is very late and has the chrome mirrors on the doors that I believe was only intended for STRs. There may be other stuff as well but I'm not familiar enough with trim differences between the STRs and the others, although it doesn't have the staggered wheel sizes.

Congrats! STRs are great fun, the only downside is little aftermarket support.

Yeah Michael Star I know what you mean. Kinda disappointing as far as the few things we can do to these. Good thing they got boat loads of power in stock form! One thing I definitely wanna get is the intake pipe!

Injekter I did call and talk to him a few times about it. Got him down to $12,500 and was planning a drive out to see it 3 weeks ago. Then he called me back saying he had an out of state buyer for more money! Lol
