Pics of Adaptive Cruise Buttons and Rear Sun Shade in my STR...
After I posted in the new member section, I had a PM from someone asking for a pic of my rear sunshade, and how to tell if an STR has adaptive cruise. I've seen these questions before from other people, so I figured it might be helpful to post the pics so everyone can see them.
Attached, therefore, you'll see the following:
1. Pic of rear sun shade.
2. Gap rocker button - for changing the follow distance in cruise.
3. Forward Alert button (triangle with car in it) - when ACC is on, an alert light comes on to tell you that a car/object has been detected in front of you. However, in normal operation with cruise off, this "forward alert" doesn't function. Therefore, the forward alert button allows you to have the car alert you to object in front even when cruise is disabled.
If those two buttons aren't there, then the car most likely doesn't have ACC (as far as I know at least).
Sorry for the blurry pics...but a camera phone can only do so much Hope that's helpful info!

They probably are... If you look real close you'll notice piping on the seats. The standard trim seats are not piped. It is a "old school" technique that Jag brought back in the upper level trims for the S in 05 or 06 I think. I will probably dig into it more just because I'm interested in trivial stuff like that.....
