No need to apologize! You are an awesome contributor to this forum and I and many others appreciate your contributions. The big C is tough to deal with ( my wife, brother, and father ) but do follow your doctor's guidance and stay as positive as you can. I hope and pray that all goes well for you.
best wishes VMV

I have to do the Big C, until the day I die, I have progressive degenerative MS, so its always active. My Neurologist is suppressing my immune system, as well as keeping the cancer in remission at the same time.

I will not be wheelchair bound if I can help it

Hey Mafioso, have you looked into any alternative treatments. Conventional cancer treatment is pretty brutal on the body.

Hey Mafioso,

Thanks for being open with us on your cancer. It must be difficult to open up to a group of guys whom most you've likely never met. Take good care of yourself buddy. We'll be here when you're feeling up to going online - so no worries!

Look after yourself!

The Cancer is is in check, but in my treatment plan the chemo is continued to suppress my immune system to slow down the MS.

Its lesser of the 2 evils.

thanks to treatments, I've ran from a wheelchair.

I was diagnosed Oct. 2007 and was almost wheelchair bound. Today you cant really tell anything is wrong with me. Im getting much better jsut have my days. lol

Super news on your recovery. You make me feel guilty as I am an irregular poster too, without your very good excuses.

haha, no wonder my nose was itching.

I do the best that I can, I dont let my ailments define who I am. I just take it one day at a time.

The worst Im battling like I mentioned is the MS, which at this point I've made it my Bit##. haha

Keep staying positive bro like you have been, good things will follow. Having MS is no joke I know how hard fighting it can be. A good friend of mine went thru med school and after finishing up she was diagnosed with MS, but she still practices Med to this day, even tho she's in the terminal stages of it now.

Our prayers are with you.

well at least , Im under the care of the world leading research neurologist, which Im thankful for, and to the surprise of alot of people I have made forward progress, and I have participated in alot of the research to help others out.

thanks to alot of my blood and other selfless people there is a blood test on the way to help diagnose MS.

I have stopped withering away for now and Im happy for that. I'll take my drunk walk and my eternal headaches and be hapy that I have been able to keep it from getting any worse. =]
