Default Please help Wife took car to wuick change oil and now it leaks transmission fluid

So we got an inferior oil change because of the holidays and now the car is leaking from the transmission. The car had 68,000 miles on it and has been babied by the dealership until now. Is there a known area that will leak if the car is lifted improperly? I have tried to find the leak but after wiping it down and running the car on flat ground again with the skid plate off, it does not leak. Yet when my wife drives it to work and parks it on our inclined driveway it leaves a regular puddle. Thanks in advance for any help.

The chances of a transmission leak being at all related in any way, shape or form to an oil change being performed are so small, its hard to even type it out. Its not a new car any more, things are going to start breaking and leaking just like every single other used car; there isn't anyone to be blamed. It would help to know the vehicle's information such as year and engine size; but its very common for the electrical connector above the transmission pan to leak on the 2003+ models with the ZF transmission.

Agreed with above.

You appear NEW, so welcome.

According to the profile filled in on membership its a 2005 3ltr.

Might pay to add that to your signature via the CP button, then its there for keeps.

Not sure what the holidays have to do with getting an inferior oil change, but are you sure it's transmission fluid and not engine oil that's leaking on the ground?

Take the belly pan off the car completely.

Clean the underside so there is no oil.

Park with white towels or paper under the car.

See what and where the drips are.

Post back with the details.
