Portholes in the Front Fender ?
I was sitting at a stoplight in the rain yesterday morning when an older-looking S-Type came zooming by. I saw the car in right-side profile and I swear it had three oval-shaped portholes in the front fender. I looked for "R" badging as well but there was none. Maybe it's just me, but that car screamed "Buick!"
Did Jaguar really put portholes on the fenders in the early 2000s or was this some modder's idea of a joke?

joycesjag,
Thanks for the directions on where to go on this site to see those stupid portholes on an S-Type. Those photos show exactly what I saw yesterday except the car was red instead of silver.
Even when I was young and car-infatuated, I was never dumb enough to do that to a classic British sedan. Sometimes I wonder what these people are thinking....

Just to add silly to silly. The Buick portholes actually point to engine not trim. 3 per side is a 6cyl and 4 per side are eights. I do believe they went off track a little, but current cars follow the old mantra...... Man I can't believe I actually know this crap!
Ha Ha BMW...... You know the same crap as me! Yikes!
