Default Possible source for lower s type rear bushs

I have been looking for bushes for the rear lower control arms for my 2003 s type 2004 for all intents and purposes. I came across this site that I have never seen before. Does anyone have any experience with these. The bush sizes work perfectly. At this price compared to 500 plus per arm, does this not make sense?

Interesting - I am always looking for sources of suspension bushes.

I see that only 14 mm internal diameter is available - wonder if that would be OK for my '05 STR. Anyone know?

I ordered a pair for my base. I have an extra pair of old arms laying around to make easier. This would be great. If the difference in the 14 and 16 str, I know for sure the base is 14. Unfortunately probably 16 is str. Might send them an email and see if they vill make them. I will let you know if this works.

Default STR Bushings

My 03 STR has developed a intermittent creaking sound when the front suspension is depressed ( braking) or rises. Thinking at 98k the suspension bushes are done. I know that the STR lower control arm are different from the base mode. guess I need to finally buy the JTIS and check the parts numbers and rent /buy a press.
Will be searching for a bush kit..any sources other than the local Jag dealer ( who does not like my 10 YO iron) would be appreciated.
BTW looking for a nice Mk II, 3.8 or conversion with ac as a frequent driver..

If you are talking about the 14mm and 16mm issue that's the diameter of the lower ball joint shaft. Nothing to do with the bushings.

In 2002 Jaguar/Ford upgraded the S Type and the LS to 16mm. All STR's have the larger size.

I have a 2003 late base and the center hole is 14 mm. That is the size bolt that goes through the center of the bushing.

Default Found S-Type bushes

I've found the site silentblocks.com, they have almost everything I need but I would like to have any feedback about them first.

Looks like they have a wide selection but nobody on the list seems to have used them. Maybe they don't sell into the US?

Default I have a set available

400 bucks shipped CONUS and it does both sides 2 large bushings and 4 smalls ones, 6 total for the rear lower arms. I have used a set on mine that I did last month so far so good! Mine is a 05 S type with 4.2 NA. Only have 1 set available!
