Love your story.
Been to Steubenville many times. Trinity Health was a client of mine for 5 years. Peeked in the windows of the Jag museum there once, but, never got to go through it. Ran into a fellow here at a car show that bought a E Type from them and had restored it to showroom condition. My father in law was from Hernshaw, WV. My father was born and raised in Marion, Oh. I was born in Ohio as well - on Route 30 between Ada and Lima - in the back of a 1937 LaSalle ambulance.

Default Vegas Baby! Yea!

My wife and I drove out to Vegas last November. It was a nice drive out. Some snow in the mountains but nothing my S couldn't handle. Anyway, we were stopped at a light one night, sitting in the front row and an older gentleman walked in front of me, stopped and turned, looked at my car, pointed and said "Nice car." and kept on walking. Priceless!

I walked straight to my black '06 S Type from the 18th green the other day. I had just finished playing with a guy I had not seen in a while. He saw me head for the Jag and kinda froze for a second. "Yours?," he said. "Yep." All he said was, "That's one striking car!" I think that sums it up.

nice stories btw.
Same here. After getting and thanking people for their compliments, they are shocked when I tell them what I paid for it.

Some of you already know the story of how I got Laurie's dream car for her. I spotted it listed on the online salvage auction where I buy. So the auction ended Valentines Day evening last year. I won it, went into the kitchen and said "I got it, Happy Valentines Day" I meant it as a joke since I already got her a new cell phone.

Well, she goes and tells all her girl friends I got her a Jag for Valentines day. A couple of them said they want first dibs if she ever gets tired of me.

Love the looks of mine. What's funny is the reaction to a Jaguar. I have a Toyota and a Jeep that both have a higher resale value. No one would believe that though.

Shortly after my GF and I started going out, I made up my mind to treat myself to an S-type and thought it would be fun to surprise her with my purchase, so didn't say a word. As we pulled into the dealership to take delivery and under the ruse of 'just looking at some sensible cars like a Honda or something' she admired the line of Jags out front and wondered why they had parked a few 'Ford Taurus' (actually S-types, including mine) amongst the XKs and XJs.

We're still together...............
