Power steering - "oop's"
I was detailing my 2001 S-type, getting it cleaned up and ready to be sold.
Well in the process, I mistakenly put concentrated window washing fluid into the power steering resovoir, (approx 1 oz).
Well, I a few days later I found a buyer, we took it for a test ride and during the drive we did some radius turns and the familiar power steering noise started.
So, I believe I need to drain and/or flush the system, but I could use some advice.
I plan on buying the recommended fluid and figured I could suck out the fluid from the resovoir and put in new, run the vehicle for a bit, making many turns, repeat the process two or three times and all will be good in the world again..
Some info on the vehicle:
* 2001 Jag S-type - 4.0 v8 - sports package - 42,235 actual miles.
Your thoughts, comments and suggestions are requested.

Step 1 complete
No responses so far ......
I just finished using a turkey baseter to remove the fluid from the resovoir.
Next step is to pick up power steering fluid... the book calls for WSA-M2C195-A.. (any other fluid ok to use?_
My plan is to re-fill - start vehicle - turn vehicle left/right 17 times - remove fluid -- re-fill and do again twice more...
your thoughts ???

I don't know if this works with Jaguar, but I changed the fluid on my wife's Toyota by removing the return hose from the reservoir and plugging the hole. Then, without engine on, just turned the steering left/right which pumped the old fluid from the system through the disconnected return hose, refilling when needed. It was quite quick, the reservoir was about empty every two left/right turns.
