Default Power Train Control Module replacement?

I am new to this forum but am desperately seeking help before I spend more money to fix my car than its worth!!! I have had my 2000 SType for about 2 years. Last year, I had trouble with the "Failsafe engine mode" light coming on and going into "limp mode". After doing as much research as I could and trying everything, I took it to the dealer who reset the computer and it has be2n fine ever since. About 2 weeks ago, I accelerated very quickly and another light came on "CATS system fault" From what I have read, that doesnt neccessarily have to be a big deal, and I was planning on getting new shocks this week. Unfortunately..... the other day it went into "failsafe engine mode" and I was forced to "limp home" in 100 degree heat with 3 kids in the car! I had the car towed to the Jag dealer, and now I am being told I need a new power train control module for $1625 along with about 5 other things that in total would run me about 4,000$!! These are a list of the codes he gave me, if anyone could give me any advice it would be greaty appreciated!! P0602, P1576, P1577, C1419 and U1027
