Default Pressure Bleeding the Brakes?

Boys and Girls,

Anybody here familiar with using a pressure bleeder on the brake system? I've got some brake work planned in the near future, and would like to flush all of the old fluid. I've got a spiffy pressure pot bleeder that I've used on other vehicles, and it works great. I like it because it turns the process into a simple 1-man job:

I've got the correct adapter for my car but have not used it yet. Anything special to know if used on an S-Type? Will the ABS module give me any trouble?

I used one of those kits on my 2004 3.0 without any problem. I needed to swap a caliper on the front and one on the rear. No problems at all.

Used that same pressure bleeder on my 2008 X150 XKR. It worked well. I think the reservoir cap adapter required was 46 mm, but the S type may be different. You need SDD or an equal JLR capable OBD scanner to cycle the ABS valves but I’ve never bothered. I figure hard braking on an icy road in the winter will stir that fluid around.
I did have to pump the brakes a couple times to get the pressure bleeder to start pushing fluid through to the caliper nipples. Overall, I was happy with this product, process was pretty clean and had a good, firm brake pedal when done.

Motive power bleeder connected to the X150 brake reservoir

Initial brake fluid drain. Pretty nasty looking.

Eventually clean fluid came out

Success! I'm happy to report all went well. Ignition off, no problems getting fluid out to each wheel.

I used a #1107 adapter (Ford 3-prong cap) and it fit perfectly:

I looked up the OEM cap, and it's the same for all years. That means the adapter should work for all years as well.

The link above is for the adapter only. You can purchase the pressure bottle and adapter as a package if preferred:
