Questions about putting wheels on an STR.
Can I put 18"x8" , offset 40mm,5x108" , backspacing 6.125" wheels all around a 2003 STR?
Finding snow tires isn't fun for the rear wheels. It would be cheaper to get 4 new wheels and snow tires,if these will fit, than just the rear wheels snow tires, with the added bonus of saving the zeus wheels.
A few shops I have called said yes and 1 said no. I know they have to fit around the calipers and brakes and it's not easy finding wheels for this car that won't break the bank. This S type r has been really running up some bills as of late and she's nearly went through her allowance for this year.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've seen you say this before in the car got rear-ended thread.
If your point is it's it's more to fix and maintain it than what it's worth , that's not the point. It's her dream car and she won't drive her buick anymore.
Trying to save money is the point. We'll get OEM parts when needed, but if we can save a few bucks we will. Thanks for your input on the wheel situation. I've never thought about getting custom wheels before and know nothing about getting aftermarket ones or how they fit and thought it would be a nice thing to do for the wife as long as it's in the budget. Not getting ripped off by garages, find wheels that fit, and making sure she is safe is the goal here.
Snow tires are needed for winter, and got quotes from 1100-1500 just for the tires.
