RE: questions about the radio
The phone button works obv if you have a phone system on your car. Most dont.
If not it is still very nice to have as it mutes the volume using either the steering wheel button or on the radio if you want to talk on your phone.
as for setting the clock try this if you dont have the manual: Try to push the 'MODE' button for a couple seconds and see if there is something flashing (time?)on the lcd, select clock first with the 'ARROWED-(search/skip)-BUTTONS',then press 'MODE' again and adjust the hours with the "ARROWED BUTTONS'then press 'MODE' and do the minutes and finally one more push on the 'MODE' button
sorry im not 100% sure, i have GPS in mine

RE: questions about the radio
... after a lot of trying, I now understand how it works:
I did had to press the "mode" button for a while, and press it a couple of times again to reach the clock adjust.
Then the arrows are useless, I needed to use the phone numbers to enter a new clock time.
So, those useless phone buttons actually have another function! great!!!
