Idk, Doesn't the pan have to come down to get to it? By the way I have to do the one on my 03 s-type this time I think I'll be doing a video on it since no one has yet. I find the Oil pan gasket fix on the 3.0 to be kind of fun to do just gets uncomfortable lying on your back on the garage floor for long periods. Feels good when you get the job done though lol

Speaking from experience twice over on both oil pan and transmission sleeve, the trans sleeve is a cake walk compared to the oil pan gasket. Lots less to move.

I can do a complete drain and sleeve install from start to finish on a cool transmission in less than an hour, including jacking up and down.

I do agree with you, the oil pan gasket is therapeutic actually working on these S Types are very satisfying!

Alright guys I'm taking my car in to have the transmission leake fixed tomorow. My car has been sitting in the garage for almost five months. I've been away from home for about 4 months. Should I worry about pre oiling the engine buy pulling some fuses and letting it turn over a few times? If so what fueses would I pull so that the engine doesnt fire up? Sorry if this is a dumb question dry starting a car that has been sitting for a long time is a huge concern for me on any car.
