Hello everyone.. I just purchased a 2007 S type with navigation. Is the vehicle position icon supposed to constantly blink??? I have had two previous cars with navigation and none of them ever blinked. It's quite annoying. Just wondering if this could be a defect. thanks

Steevo, Took delivery of my XJ8L 2 weeks ago and the icon of vehicle location on mine blinks as well. Sorry I haven't read the manual yet to see if it can be set to solid icon.

**** steve o, i dont think you should be staring at it long enough for it to get annoying lol mine blinks too i think it does it just to show you its actively thinking
