Radiator hot on top cool on bottom
I replaced radiator, thermostat, water pump, and belt in 2001 Jag S Type
Now it gets great heat in cabin, but after running a while will run a little hot, and cooling can runs on after car is shut off for a few min. Bottom rad hose is cool and top is hot also rad is not hot all across, one side cool other hot. What is going on. I tested the thermostat before putting in and it works. it is also new

Coolant enters the radiator at the top and flows across exiting at the bottom on the opposite side. The air flowing through the rad core removes heat which is why the core is much cooler at the bottom. This is normal operation, look elsewhere for your problem if in fact you actually have one. How do you know the car is actually running hot?
