Default Radio, Parking Brake and Water

Hi there, I'm new to the forum and new to Jags. I posted this topic in Tech as well, but not sure what goes were on this forum yet. Just bought a 2004S-type about a month ago. It has 33k miles and seems to have been well taken care of. However I am experiencing problems. Noticed that the driver door speaker was inop and that it was leaking oil on the driveway. It still has factory warranty until April so I took it in to the local Dealer. They changed the oil pan gasket and plugged in the door speaker. Next day all the radio speakers stopped working, called dealer. They say 'disconnect battery for a few minuetes and reconnect. So I did and the speakers started working again. At this step I noticed water in the trunk, about a half inch of it. WTF? Anyway now after reconnecting the battery and getting the speakers to work I am getting a message that says "Apply Parking Brake". The Parking brake now seems to be inop. Taking the car for a drive changes the message to "Parking Brake Fault". I hooked up my code reader and only got a P1111 which is the IAT sensor and nothing to do withthe Brake. I guess it's going back to the dealer but does anyone have any ideas on my problem?

I've done the battery disconnect reset also and got the messege saying apply parking brake. It went awat after puttung the car in gear then putting it back in park and applying the parking brake. Also when I had my parking brake pads replaced I got the fault messege but after driving the car normally a few times with the normal starting of the enging it too went away. I'm talking about the electronic parking brakes.
I hope this helps!

Ok, I managed to get the parking brake issue resolved. Originallly the brake would not set in Park, so I tryed setting it in neutral, nada, Drive, nothing, Reverse, and wa-la the parking brake set. I put it back in P and shut it off. Started it back up and now park brake works as it should and no messages. I don't know why or how but that was all it took. For now my only outstanding issue is the water intrusion in the trunk which will hopefully be an easy fix.

If you do a little searching there is a post on water in the trunk and how to resolve it.
