Random Low coolant warnings after DCCV swap.

Ok Guys,
Ever since I swapped my DCCV, I've been getting an occasional, momentary engine coolant low warning every few days. It only lasts for a couple of mins, then goes away.
The car seems to be bled fine, engine temp holds at normal, and the heat works @ idle. The Recovery tank seems to have enough coolant in it, although its not full up to the top. Should I just add a little bit of coolant? Any harm in a bit too much??
What i don't get is how the coolant level momentarily drops, but then recovers for a couple days. There are no outward signs of leaks or anything of the sort...
Any ideas?
George

Have it checked! I had low coolant warnings for 2 months and added coolant as needed, shortly thereafter my A/C went out and I found out that the thermostat stuck and allowed water to "back-up" in the system frying my temperature module. $3,000.00 later I now have my A/C back and no more coolant problems.
Drive safe and have fun!

Mine did that too after getting the DCCV done. Just filled the reserve tank to the top and all was well. When the warning came on, the tank "looked" full. After topping it off, no more light.

Mine did the same thing after I replaced my DCCV... but the low coolant light was on all the time, not intermittently. The coolant level was exactly at the full mark in the reservoir at all times (in fact slightly over) when it was doing this. I eventually just pulled the connector off the sensor and jumpered it to turn off the warning. Not sure why it decided to fail right after replacing the DCCV. I should probably hook the connector back up and see if the sensor is still flakey.
