Default Rattle over rough roads ?

I started using my 2005 S-Type 4.2L V8 as a daily driver for the past 2 months after having it sitting in my driveway for about a year with it rarely being driven.

Anyways I recently started hearing a rattle in the front wheels when driving over rough roads, and when I press the brakes the rattle disappears until I depress the brakes so I'm assuming it's something with the brake system anyone ever deal with this...have a solution ?

Thanks for any help

how many miles do you have?

my buddy redid his whole front end to get rid of his rattles. All bushings, ball joints, etc. Took a whole day of work (painfully pressing out and in the joints), but after that, the front was SOLID. Maybe your front became a bit worn and due for an overhaul?

Hero, can you compare the sound of Mina Gallery exhausts verses the stock mufflers you took off? I am interested in how they sound. Louder, smoother, etc. Thanks.

I haven't made a clip yet but I should...

To be honest, at stock, I really couldn't hear anything. I couldn't hear the exhaust at all with the windows closed.

The Mina Gallery exhaust is the perfect balance for me, if anything, a bit on the louder side. It's extremely aggressive at WOT but extremely tame and has a "bark" around town throttle if that makes sense...

I'm actually going to delete my cats this week...

Default Rattling

I have the same problem and the same situation. I got my cat from someone who let it sit for about a year. I just started driving it too and have the same problem. I'm a novice about cars, but handy, I noticed my front upper control arms are both bad. Will be replacing both this week. I don't know what else is wrong. So if you fix this problem, please let me know everything you did, so I can check that too. Thanks.

I'm just going to take my kitty to a shop as I wouldn't have time to actually repair whatever the problem is...whenever I get some time lol
