Default Rear brake assembly problem.. need help FAST

Decided to replace pads and disks on a 2006 S 4.2 normally aspirated.
Fronts were easy. The drivers side rear seemed like it took forever
to push the caliper piston in; I'm using one of those cubes that fit
on a ratchet so the piston can be turned clockwise while pushing the
piston in. Won't tell you how many turns I've done with the damnable
thing! The brakes are the Teeves system that Jag switched to in
mid-2006 (although I don't think this makes any difference).

Anyway, have to be to work tomorrow; however, I'm not going
anywhere until I can get that piston retracted. I've seen tools
advertised that are somewhat like a glorified c-clamp that put
force on the piston while turning it at the same time.

Any ideas would be appreciated! Thanks.

Default Tried that...

Sorry about the double posting; didn't realize it was forbidden. Yes, I
did try counterclockwise on the driver's side...big mistake. Within a
few turns, the piston backed out further! At that point, I thought
I really screwed up as the little cube does not fit well when the
piston is backed out. Fortunately, many swear words and lots of
turning clockwise pushed the piston in and I was able to fit the pads
with no problem. Still have no idea why I can't get the passenger
side in!

Cliff, try cracking the bleeder valve open a little bit to relieve the brake fluid pressure. If the ABS module doesn't have some internal leakage, you are trying to compress the brake fluid, which can lead to the piston not wanting to go in.

If you need more help, let me know.
