Default Rear brake pad change question

Hey,
I know there the tool used to retract the caliper but I do not own one, and auto zone wants $ I dont have at the moment to rent 1. So my question is, is there any way ti push the rear caliper back in without the tool

Easy to slip and cause damage - more costly.

The correct tool is under $20 as I recall.

Autozone simply requires a deposit to allow you to borrow the tool. Bring it back in proper condition and you get your deposit back. If your local Autozone is actually charging you for tool rental, they may be violating their own corporate policy....

Right on Jon! Rent for deposit only, return get deposit back. I would not screw around, rent the tool!
